Obsidian Entertainment es una empresa estadounidense desarrolladora de videojuegos fundada en 2003 con sede en Irvine, California. Fue fundada por Chris Jones, Chris Avellone, Darren Monahan y Feargus Urquhart, quienes eran empleados en Black Isle Studios.
Esta empresa es reconocida por el desarrollado de juegos para PC, como Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Neverwinter Nights 2, Pillars of Eternity, Fallout New Vegas y The Outer Worlds.
En el evento de Xbox X018 Microsoft anunció que adquiría el estudio junto con la compra también de otro estudio similar, InXile.
